About Your Hosts
Tom
and Sue Jones lived in the Northumbria
National Park in North East England before moving
to France. Sue ran a 4 Crown, Highly Commended Bed
and Breakfast and Self-catering business for 15
years and Tom followed his own career as an
Engineer.
When Tom retired they moved to the
Dordogne, France in May 1995 and Sue went into
semi-retirement! They bought an existing
self-catering business at Le Brandau, Carsac de
Gurson, with 2 properties to let and both were
awarded France One Call's 5 Globes Highly
Commended.
Le Brandau is only 7 kilometres from Le Roc
Nord, so guests can be assured that a wealth of
knowledge about the area, where to eat and most
importantly where to buy your wine is available if
required.
As Tom and Sue now live in the converted
barn at Le Roc Nord, they are discreetly on hand
to clean the pool, look after the garden and help
in any way that they can. Tom will supply you with
tomatoes, courgettes, herbs, etc. from his
vegetable garden when in season. |
